TV show host gets a kick out of Monsoon

The cultural critic Touré is used to covering pop culture and interviewing some of the biggest names in hip-hop.
Now the New York writer and TV personality is going where no man has gone before — playing football with a hard-hitting Tucson women's football team.

The Tucson Monsoon, a member of the Independent Women's Football League, will play in front of TV cameras Saturday night at Tucson High School.
The cameras will be from Treasure HD, available on DISH Network, and the crew has been here for a few days to shoot an episode of the upcoming new series, "I'll Try Anything Once."
The host of the show is Toure, a novelist, journalist and pop culturist who will play wide receiver for the Monsoon in an exhibition game tonight. Read More
